MEMORIES By:Desmond D. Nyirenda
Behind that rock You called me a rock Over your love I remember The water could reflect us Together we could reflect On how momentous was our love
All are memorable That hot cold air inside us Was so vehement Whenever we mingle Good bad intentions Over that love
I was so happy To hear and see The behaviour of those birds As if they were their Just meant to joy with us Our love was melodious Everyday we could feel And dance to our own songs
You were motherly to me With you I learnt how to kiss How to feel a song Of a womans heart You taught me How to be familiar With things only meant for you
Together we learnt To reason and understand Why other things were Made to be two We learnt to know The secrates of hearts When they are in love
I remember in those days Your touch could keep Heat inside my body Like a vaccum flask You used to call my heart "he" And I could yours "she"
Like a television people watching it All eyes were on us Now long distance matters Missing you is full time job And my head is full of countless Memories
