KISS ME GOODBYE By; Burnet Arkangel Mulungu
I’ve rolled on the bumpy rocks Crushed in the thorny bushes Braked in the shade of tears Borrowed my wishes Cheered at with blocks. I’ve had my eardrum swollen with laughter My head heavy with thoughts Still my heart have that altar And coughs out the word The words that floats To the other side.
I’ve been webbed in confusion As days would go Without a sneak if not a glimpse Into the ever shining creature I got an infuse Of the never ending worries
I’ve sat in the dark layer A layer of no clear definition As attempts were my daily meals I had no one to share My usual dosage of oppression As I try to label it out, mouth seals. I have struggled with the word That sounds simple as I jolt it down I feel having a hoe for mining gold Mouth had analyzed the body I own And weighed on a scale The content I hold to meet the creature.
All said and little done Then I signed to waste adjectives I approached the creature Arm with collection of words, a single line She gave me a warm unexpected voice Then I heard my heart say, KISS ME GOODBYE ‘’Uswazidom’’
